To some extent, you take the "bad" with the good, but I also know that many of the things I don't care for are necessary to remain competitive and safe. I may not like all of the newest or most popular technologies, but there are still many options I do like. I like the flexibility in how many ways you can architect an application. I like the fast turnaround time, being able to rapidly make graphical applications. In any case, what's your experience with android development like? Fun? Stressful? Do you wish you could use another language aside from Java/Kotlin for development? One more thing I wish android development would allow for is more freedom and capabilities in working with audio (specifically, DSP, internal audio recording and sound synthesis,) but I do know one can use C++ and port JUCE apps to android studio (but this last point is probably more suitable for another community.) But, still, I love android apps and do appreciate its strictness on security. What I find rather tricky about android development is working with device access permissions and the many changes that seem to keep arising each year with new updates. It's so much better for predicting the GUI design on multiple devices than creating Python GUI apps with Tkinter and Kivy. My favorite part about android development is working with Java, and I find Android Studio to be a really well-organized IDE to work with. Sorry if this isn't the proper place to post this question.
